Make note that each item is included and in the described condition, and notify me.
STEP THREE: HOOK UP
Watch this video showing how to hook up the holter. You may or may not want your own clippers to shave the hair, rubbing alcohol to clean the area prior to sticking the electrodes, and/or vet wrap self adhering bandage material to wrap the electrodes and leads underneath the vest for extra security (those three things are not included). Use the bag of extra batteries and extra hook ups first before opening a new package. Throw away any electrode and do not use it if the gel on the back is dried out. Discard from the holter package and do not use any battery that has less than 3/4 battery left as shown on the holter monitor display screen.

Hook up your dog according to the directions. Your dog needs to securely wear this for 24hrs from the time of hook up without disruption. They should have a normal day. Keep the holter dry and as clean as possible while wearing it. You might need to make arrangements to watch your dog through the day and keep them by you at night to make sure it stays secure and does not get damaged.
STEP FOUR: REMOVE THE HOLTER
Watch this video showing how to remove the holter.

Make sure you wipe down the leads and any other parts, wash and dry the vest if necessary (gentle machine or hand wash with regular detergent no bleach or fabric softener, hang to dry or light no heat tumble dry).
STEP FIVE: TRANSMIT THE DATA & GET THE REPORT
Watch this video showing how to transmit the holter data. It will be $35 to Alba medical to receive your report. The report will simply be data from the holter recording. It should arrive to your email fairly quickly (within a business day or two has been our experience). If you need help interpreting the data you can have your vet check it over and/or send it to me for review (*note I am not a veterinarian or cardiologist, I only know some basic parameters to check for red flags). --For PRIMA owners I greatly appreciate being informed on your dog's holter reports, and any other health testing.

STEP SIX: BOX IT UP AND SEND OFF, on or before the 4th day of having the holter
Make sure all the contents are returned to the box in the same or better condition as received. Either mail it USPS priority mail with tracking and signature delivery confirmation OR coordinate to meet with the next renter in person. Let me know when it is sent and if applicable what the tracking is.
*In case any part is damaged, broken, or missing let me know immediately so we can get replacement part(s) right away.
Let me know if you have any questions at any time.
